BBC Elstree Concert Band, Andrew Morley conductor with Henry Kelly narrator and Tubby the Tuba. Be ready for foot-tapping and hand-clapping to the music that children (and the rest of us) know and love!

The Parker Quintet
Barbara Wyllie clarinet, Pierre Largeron violin, Atsuko Takao violin, Elliot Joseph Moore viola and Alisa Franklin cello. The newly-formed Parker Quintet is five talented musicians from Britain, Japan and France who are all currently working and studying in London. The Quintet takes its name from the architect who helped design Hampstead Garden Suburb, where the ensemble was founded. Weber Quintet for Clarinet and Strings Op34 in B flat major; Mozart Quintet for Clarinet and Strings K581 in A major.

Violin and Piano Recital
Tanya Sweiry violin and Manon Ablett piano. Beethoven ‘Spring’ Sonata No 5 in F major Op 24; Bach Ciaccona from Solo Partita No 2 in D minor; Wieniawski Variations on an Original Theme Op 15. Both players are currently studying for Masters’ Degrees at the Royal Academy of Music.

Concert for Schools
Nonesuch Orchestra, Will Carslake conductor. ‘Kings and Queens and Princes’ – Regal music celebrating the Diamond Jubilee with works by court composers and by Masters of the King’s Music from Boyce to Elgar. Bach: Brandenberg Concerto No 3; Handel Arrival of the Queen of Sheba.

Organ Recital
Jonathan Gregory organist and Director of Music, Hampstead Garden Suburb Free Church. Jonathan has been Organist and Director of Music at Leicester and Belfast Cathedrals. Bach; Percy Whitlock; An improvisation by Jonathan Gregory.
