Kevin Hathway (presenter)
Join the Royal Albert Hall’s resident ensemble, Albert’s Band, as we set sail on an action packed nautical adventure. Presented by Kevin Hathway and his band of musical pirates, we’ll be stopping off in all sorts of exotic locations.
A versatile and highly skilled group of musicians, Albert's Band put on bespoke performances and workshops for all ages, both at the Royal Albert Hall and in the community. The six piece band incudes a violin, trumpet, clarinet, trombone, tuba and percussion. The group are the resident ensemble for the Royal Albert Hall's extensive Education & Outreach programme and perform at everything from family concerts in the Hall's Elgar Room to free Songbook sessions in care homes and hospices. This afternoon they play music with the theme of The Sea.
