2022 Festival Programme

The Proms at St Jude's Festival is a wonderful array of music, literature, family events and heritage walks that takes place every summer in Hampstead Garden Suburb, North London.

Our 30th season will run from 25 June to 3 July 2022.

Full details of all our concerts, Heritage Walks, LitFest and comedy events are now available – see Tickets & What’s On.

Our opening night will feature Orchestra Nova performing a programme of works by Mendelssohn and Schubert, including Death and the Maiden. The Last Night, on Sunday 3 July 2022, will have a royal theme, in honour of HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year.

For a beautiful blend of saxophone, organ and vocals, come and hear Historical Fiction – Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces rearranged by Christian Forshaw, Grace Davidson and Libby Burgess.

We also have piano trios performed by The Gould Trio, Tchaikovsky and Haydn performed by the Echo Ensemble, Rachmaninov played by Fantasia Orchestra, 60s and 70s music with Joanna Eden, jazz with Darius Brubeck and lots more.

LitFest features seven events with top authors including Colm Tóibín, Jon Sopel, and Claudia Roden.

There are a dozen guided Heritage Walks, free lunchtime concerts, family events and a comedy night.

Proms is organised almost entirely by local volunteers to raise money for two charities: Toynbee Hall and the North London Hospice
