Let’s think ahead to the warmth of the summer – and to the music, literary talks, comedy, walks and family fun that will be on offer this June in and around the Suburb.
Put the dates in your diary – we look forward to greeting you all
at Proms at St Jude’s 22-30 June 2024.
Music
We have secured a first-class array of talent which will appeal to all musical tastes.

Sheku, Isata and Braimah Kanneh-Mason will make a very welcome return to Proms on Tuesday 25 June. Included in their repertoire this year is Schubert’s popular Trout Quintet, performed with Edgar Francis and Toby Hughes. Their concert sold out when they performed at Proms in 2018, so help to secure your tickets by becoming a Friend of Proms at St Jude's to get priority booking for all performances.
And there are many more wonderful musicians in our 2024 programme. The Festival will open on Saturday 22 June with Proms favourite, Fantasia Orchestra, conducted by Tom Fetherstonhaugh, celebrating the work of American composers including Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story Overture and George Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue.
On Monday 24 June the acclaimed musicians of the London Tango Quintet will share their passion for tango and set your toes tapping.
On Saturday 29 June Wayne Harnandez will celebrate the Magic of Motown, with the music of The Temptations, The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Martha Reeves, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder and The Jacksons. An evening not to be missed!
Audience favourite Last Night of the Proms will be a real treat this year. Rainer Hersch and his Orkestra will play all the usual pieces and add his own special touch. As always, cheering and singing along will be de rigueur.
