Digital marketing guru sought

Do you enjoy getting into the nitty gritty of databases? Can you help others learn how to use IT systems effectively? Are you hot on Facebook, Google adwords and other digital media that will reach our middle-aged and older audience? Can you help design and distribute e-newsletters, targeting them appropriately?

If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Your skills will enable us to increase ticket sales for our concerts and author talks, in turn help boost sponsorship and advertising revenue, and hence generate greater funds for the two good causes we support - Toynbee Hall and the North London Hospice.

You'll be helping develop a great community event, support people with life-limiting conditions and boost the life chances of socially excluded young people.

This is particularly important in our Silver Jubilee year, when we want to exceed what we've achieved in the past and set the stage for the next 25 years!

This is an ongoing role, working from home, requiring about 8-12 hours' time per month on average. It's particularly busy from December to June, and quieter in the summer and autumn.

We tend to meet once a month in volunteers' homes, mainly in the evening, so this would need to suit you. Besides that, you'd support us remotely in your own time, with email being the main means of communication.

We're all volunteers, mostly living locally around Hampstead Garden Suburb, and if you can muck in and join us, we can have good fun as well as putting on a great community event and raising funds for two very good causes.

If you'd like to volunteer for this role, please email Ron Finlay at ron.finlay@promsatstjudes.org.uk, explaining why.
