Theo Gill, 17, has won the Proms 2018 fanfare competition, open to students aged 14-18. His winning entry was played twice at the Last Night of the Proms on 1 July. "It's an honour to receive this," said Theo, who is studying for A-levels, including Music, at Dame Alice Owens School.

Conductor Robert Max, who presented Theo with his prize said "Theo's piece is certainly worth all the attention."
