The Purcell School is one of the world’s finest schools for young musicians and the oldest music school in the UK. It provides a rounded education to around 195 talented students, most of whom go on to the top conservatoires and colleges for music. Purcell students share a common bond in their passion for music, with a community boasting creativity and mutual support. The programme the soloists have chosen is Rachmaninov Trio élégiaque No 1 in G minor and Franck Sonata in A major for violin and piano.
