This evening features music by Gershwin, Bernstein, Ellington and more. The show was a sell out at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. Classically trained Lizzie Ball is a prolific performer who has been on the international stage for two decades. She has always been passionate about performing all styles of music and her residency at Ronnie Scott’s, Upstairs at Ronnie’s, has included everything from string quartets to beatboxing flute players and East End female rappers.
James Pearson is a British jazz pianist, composer, bandleader and Musical Director of Ronnie Scott’s. Acclaimed for virtuosity and swing, he leads his own groups, collaborates internationally, an champions contemporary jazz through performance, recording, and education, broadcasting, mentorship and club programming worldwide. Tonight, they and their fellow musicians perform American music in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the declaration of American independence.
