Q How can I book tickets before booking opens to the public?
A Become a 
Friend of Proms at St Jude’s.

Q Can I book tickets in the priority booking period at the same time as joining as a Friend?
A Yes. After selecting your Friends membership, please confirm and pay. Please then log in again: the system will recognise you as 2021 Friend and allow you to book tickets in the corresponding priority period.

 

Q When can I buy my Friends membership?
Friends memberships will go on sale on our website from 29 March. 

Q What benefits will I receive as a Friend in 2021?

We have had to change our normal arrangements this year, as we plan for a socially distanced festival. The most important benefit will be priority booking for tickets, which will be in high demand due to the restricted numbers of tickets available. We will not be able to offer the normal hospitality marquee. 

Q  When can I book my ticket?

A  Gold Friends can book from Monday, 24 May and will have an exclusive 48 hour priority booking period.

     Silver Friends can book from Wednesday, 26 May and will also have an exclusive 48 hour priority booking period.

     Bronze Friends can book from Friday, 28 May and will have a 24 hour priority booking period.

     Public booking will open on Saturday, 29 May.

Q Why are the tickets going on sale later this year?

We need to wait to see if the Government meets the conditions that will allow events to take place after 17 May, which is step three on the roadmap.

Q What happens if the performance is cancelled? Will I get a refund?

A If we are unable to hold the performance due to Government restrictions, you will receive an automatic refund, no questions asked. 

Q Can I return tickets if I can no longer use them?

A Yes but refunds will be given only if we are able to resell unwanted tickets and will be subject to a £5 administration charge per booking. Please phone the box office on 020 3322 8123 and leave a message.


Q Is there access for wheelchair users?
Yes, there is wheelchair access to all venues. See

Q When are tickets despatched?
A No postal tickets will be available to avoid unnecessary handling of paperwork. Tickets will be e-tickets only (print at home or on the phone).  

Q Is parking available?
A Limited parking is available in surrounding streets – please park considerately. Parking in St Jude’s car park is strictly for people with disabilities and must be pre-booked.

Q I have a Blue Badge – can I use the church car park?

Q Why are you not offering any hospitality this year? 

A  Due to the announced delay in moving to Step 4 of the Government's Roadmap out of lockdown, we have had to take the difficult decision this year not to provide our normal catering and hospitality marquees. We have decided the cost and resources required to be Covid compliant is too great and would prefer our resources to be directed at putting on live music and raising funds for our charities.

What will the seating plan be like and will it be full?

A  When the tickets go on sale we anticipate a capacity of less than 50% in accordance with the rules applied by the Government. Most seats will be sold in bubbles of two, but there will be some singles, threes and fours available if you want to sit with those in your support bubble. 

Q How long will concerts be and when will will the concerts take place?

Normally, our audience experience about 90 minutes of live music with an interval. In 2021, we will be putting on two, one-hour concerts, and no interval - in line with many other venues. 

Q The concert I wish to attend is sold out. Will there be any chance of returns?

Q How do I book unreserved seats for evening concerts?
To ensure safety of all our customers, staff and artists, there will only be reserved seating available in 2021.

Q How do I claim my free tea/coffee and cake for buying tickets for three LitFest events taking place on the same day?
A Due to changed nature of the events there will be no free tea/coffee and cake available in 2021.
