Double Bass and Piano Recital

Will Duerden is a highly sought-after soloist, chamber musician and orchestral leader who rose to prominence after reaching the Strings Category Final of 2018 BBC Young Musician. Ukrainian Svitlana Kosenko is Accompanist in Residence at the Yehudi Menuhin School. The programme includes: Mišek’s  Legende; Liebermann’s Sonata for contrabass and piano; Tabakov’s Motivy; Ysaÿe’s Rêve d'enfant; Schubert’s Nacht und Träume; and Bottesini’s Grande allegro di concerto (alla Mendelssohn).
